It does exactly what it says on the tin. Very little original material but everything with my own personal spin applied. Enjoy it while you can...

The Secret World

Woot, me and PC "just call me Tex" Tex Ripley, just worked our way through Sanctuary of Secrets forerunner ARG for Funcom's upcoming MMOG The Secret World. What a blast, loads of Google, wiki, and assorted deep Greek Mythology website trawls. I don't think I'll ever forget 6284968128, especially since we were sat on the answer for an hour without realising.

Checkout their ARG launch video below, and also their official forums here. The community on the forums are brilliant, really worked together to get this solved. Also, a thread at unFiction here

Time for bed I think. Great fun thanks Tex.

Sci-Fi London

Any of you who have taken the time out to look at my profile will see that under my list of (all time) Favorite Films is listed La Cite des Enfants Perdus. So it was with great excitement when I found out that this film was showing at the London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film, or SFL8, this April.

I'm not sure when I started watching French language films, or why to be honest (no offence). I do not know a second language. I was notorious at school for being the girl getting kicked out of french lessons for goading Mr Zola, our Hungarian, french teacher. So it came as a surprise one day, sitting down to watch Subway, and the start of my love affair (although he never knew it) with Luc Besson.

Eventually I found my way to "La Cite" via Delicatessen, first on VHS and then by a huge task that was trying to purchase a non-english-dubbed version on DVD (viva amazon.fr), and probably my favorite films of all time (sorry Luc, although I still hold a soft spot for you).

Even more fantastic is that Marc Caro is doing a Q&A following the showing. Hopefully my two year stint in the Anarchy Online, French speaking, Role-playing Corporation, "Les Renoncantes", will still stand me in good stead..

Needless to say, I have my tickets...

Behind the Yellow Curtain - Chapter 3: Sons of Qadhos

An evil and dangerous cult of art collectors, the Barbizon Group, seem to be on the cusp of bringing about hell on earth, to bring Satan's court to rule! Did I say they were evil?! No, they are Evil! No, i'll go further, they are Eeveeel!! Lock up your paintings! Hide your sculptures! Burn your books.. no, no, don't do that, err lock them in a big box in the loft! Yeah, do that. But most of all support the resistance. Go here Sons of Qadhos, check your language, watch the video, follow the instruction, find your Destiny!

Social Network Monitoring

See that button... Yup, that one up there... put that anywhere. Things are a-foot, things may even be a whole leg! Make people aware and stop hell on earth, or at the very least a small crater somewhere in Mongolia. Goto Sons of Qadhos and find out how!

Oh, and guess what, you can follow the crumbs, as usual, at unFiction.
