The Birthing - A Star is Born...
and how bright she has shone.
Anegale BloodRayne, head of the family BloodRayne in the worlds of Camelot; nomad and underground activist for the Clans in the world of Anarchy; finest undead Priest you could ever hope to have by your side in the World of Warcraft; and other too numerous to mention Betas both successful and not so...
She saw her first sunlight standing along side a giant Firbolg named Sprechgesang on the virgin grass plains of Hibernia. Her first name given to her by my husband, Stephen, a compression of my own name, the surname from the original tag line I gave her, "through a rain of blood, came a shade of the night". Her profession was that of as Nightshade. A dual-blade wielding assassin. Together with Sprechgesang, a noble bard, we explored the new world together. Unfortunately, Sprech never made it out of Beta.
It was there that Anegale stumbled across a guild of nomads from the Wheel of Time. They called themselves the Dreamwalkers, to whom she pledged her alliance.
In the world of Hibernia they made their home for many years, a few stumbled and fell by the way side on the journey, to much sadness. Others having discovered great magicks, found themselves transported to the stars, the Goddess EVE protecting them on their fantastic journey. This was one of the first Partings of the Way. Anegale, although desperate to follow the ways of the Goddess, found her faith was lacking and lacked the strength to follow the Few of the First.
As she walked the green lands of Hibernia, with her thoughts on those friends who had parted with the Goddess, Anegale saught other, more darker ways to reach the stars. But alas she only found Anarchy. These were truly dark days. She found herself transported to a planet vast distances away from the land of her birth. Everything was turmoil. Although she found her place within the great Organisation that was Omni-Med, head of genetics, her legacy was a vast number of clones and with each one a goal; the total obliteration of the Omni-Corp. The planet she found herself on, Rubi-ka, changed greatly over the years, and now although still changing, she only finds Anarchy in her dreams, and only very occasionally.
The Doctor she became, could not cling onto life, and even in her dreams, she only visited Rubi-ka through her clones. But somehow her essence travelled back to the lands of her birth, Hibernia - where she awoke from her anarchy ridden nightmare after many years having been looked after by a kind benefactor of Dreamwalkers. Unfortunately, her waking brought about the second Parting of the Way. Warcraft had descended and many were preparing to take up arms...
Remembering her failure with the Goddess EVE, Anegale was more determined to go with her friends and drew upon some of the strongest and most powerful magick that existed within the world of Camelot. Her plan was to invoke this magick at the mid point of the three realms and use it to sunder her spirit into two, so that she may continue her Dreamwalk in both lands. Following a great battle with the forces of Albion and Midgard, the Dreamwalkers were able to hold a fortified position where the three lands met, and the ritual was cast, and the deed was done...
But the nature of magick is fickle, and as her spirit flew to this World of Warcraft, the Source of All Power took his payment, and cast her spirit to the side of darkness - The Undead, where she was forced to battle against the very people had hoped to join, forever seperated by race, by language, by life, by War...
By contrast, her life in Hibernia grew fuller. The darker her acts in one world, the greater the victories in the other. The years moved, ebbed and coursed, and for life to continue, then life has to renew, and on both worlds a new life came to be. In Hibernia - Helenarile. A great Lurikeen Ranger, knowing the ways of the land, the give and the take, the balance. In Azeroth - Eliraneleh. A ferocious Orc Hunter, knowing only venegeance, betrayal, blood and death...
And so the fight for balance continued... but always, regardless of which time she lived or which Universe she inhabited, she could always hear the voice of the Goddess calling to her.
One day maybe... when she is ready... EVE will add her story, and then Anegale will truly shine, like the star she has grown to be.
